Since 2000, “Music Without Limits” has gathered talented musicians from around the world to the international festival, competition and masterclasses. In 2024, pianists, string players and chamber music ensembles are invited to participate.

Contestants have the opportunity to compete for prestigious concert prizes and the opportunity to play solo with the specially assembled “Music Without Limits” chamber orchestra, conducted by maestro Martynas Staškus.

In the masterclasses students work  with internationally renowned pedagogues – Paolo Giacometti (piano, Netherlands-Italy-Germany), Martin Lysholm Jepsen (piano, Denmark), Guoda Gedvilaitė (piano, Lithuania-Germany), Jaroslaw Drzewiecki (piano, Poland), Pavel Radzinski (violin, Poland), Rūta Lipinaitytė-Savickienė (violin, Lithuania), Petras Vyšniauskas (saxophone, Lithuania), Irena Milkevičiūtė (vocals, Lithuania) and others. To improve the competences of the participants and their teachers, a versatile and intensive educational program is presented, combining individual classes with top-class teachers and practical seminars, during which relevant questions of interpretation are examined, performers are taught to control their bodies and psychologically prepare for performing on stage.

The “Music Without Limits” festival presents high-quality classical music concerts in Druskininkai, where the stage is given to young musicians alongside internationally recognized artists. Entrance to the festival events is free.

Every year “Music Without Limits” welcomes more than 100 participants from all over the world – Latvia, Estonia, Sakartvel, Ukraine, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Costa Rica, USA, China, Japan and other countries. In 2014 the contest-festival was included in the catalog of the Alink-Argerich Foundation.
